Annette Linton is a partner in the property department, having joined the firm in 2005. Annette has over 16 years’ experience in property law matters relating to conveyancing, residential and commercial leases, share sales, business sales, residential and condominium developments and residential and commercial mortgage transactions.

Her practice also includes advising local, regional and international clients on Barbadian estate law, preparation of wills, trusts, obtaining grants of administration and probate and the administration of estates.

She has published a number of articles on both property and estate law and is one of the founding members and the current chairperson of the firm’s newsletter committee which is responsible for the firm’s quarterly newsletter “CGF Point of Law”.
In addition, Annette has conducted numerous workshops on estate planning and tutored on the legal aspects of real estate transactions.

Annette was called to the Bar in Barbados in 2003, having obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago. Before joining Clarke Gittens Farmer, she began her practice at another well respected chambers in Barbados.
