Janielee Kelly
Senior Associate
Janielee Kelly is an associate in the Property Department having joined the firm in 2022.
Janielee’s passion for Property Law has led to a varied portfolio. She has acted on behalf of local, regional and international clients in real estate transactions involving the sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties, the sale of shares of property holding companies and residential and commercial leases. She has also worked with commercial banks and other lending institutions in the areas of financing and secured lending, advising on title and security issues for residential and commercial loans.
Janielee received her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2014. She pursued her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago in 2016 where she was awarded “Most Outstanding Year I Student”, The Phelps & Co Prize (Best Performance in Civil Procedure & Practice I) and the Peterson Lambert Peterson & Co Prize (Best Performance in Evidence & Forensic Medicine). She completed her studies for the Legal Education Certificate in 2016 and was named on the Principal’s Honor Roll. She was called to the Bar in Barbados in October 2016.
