Jason is an associate in the Corporate Department and brings with him a diverse background of qualifications and experience.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking & Finance and worked in both the investment and compliance departments of an international investment bank in Barbados prior to entering the legal field. Whilst working in the banking sector, Jason pursued his Bachelor of Laws at the University of the West Indies where he won the Clarke Gittens Farmer/Cave Hill Law Society Moot Competition. Jason then attended the two-year programme at the Hugh Wooding Law School, where he was awarded the prize for the most outstanding performance in Forensic Evidence and Medicine in his first year and obtained his Legal Education Certificate in 2015. Jason also represented the Hugh Wooding Law School as a member of the winning team at the moot competition hosted by the American & Caribbean Law Initiative.

Jason was admitted to the Barbados Bar in 2015 and later joined a well-established law firm where he gained several years’ experience as an associate in the advisory and civil litigation departments. Jason continued his studies and was awarded a Master of Laws from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Business Administration from the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business.

Outside of law, Jason’s interests include football, technology and history.
